This species of Rudbeckia is an annual that readily sows itself and easily spreads. Great for filling in areas. An important species for supporting native pollen specialist bees and considered a Keystone Native Plant. Grows about 1-3 ft. in moist or dry soil in full sun. High drought tolerance. Juglone tolerant. Larval host for Bordered Patch and Gorgone Checkerspot butterflies.
